Most of the research methods we learn in college or graduate school are Eurocentric and presented as the only acceptable way to conduct scientific, credible research. However, there are ways of being and knowing that challenge the universal applicability of those methods. This class will explore Afrocentric Research Methods. It is for people who want to learn more about culturally-proficient and affirming ways to conduct research. It is recommended that you take Research Methods Part 1, but it isn’t required.
